August 30 – Tatar world, our beloved Republic together with our close and distant neighbors celebrated the 100th anniversary of TASSR, the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on State sovereignty of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is no accident that the opening of Gayaz ishaki’s website took place during the celebration of these great anniversaries. Gayaz Iskhaki-without any doubt, is the greatest leader in the history of the Tatar people, a legend of Tatar literature, a bright and multi-faceted personality. Gayaz Iskhaki devoted his entire life to the struggle for the rights of Tatars and Turkic peoples, leaving behind a rich legacy. Ishaki is a phenomenon that our society has yet to learn through the study of his works, journalistic articles, Newspapers and magazines published by him.
Gayaz Iskhaki-made an invaluable contribution to the development of the Tatar people, their culture, literature, art, and journalism. And today, his works are more relevant than ever. We, the generation of Tatars of the XXI century, must not only preserve and multiply the legacy of Iskhaki, including for future generations. Our most important task is to convey to all Tatars his thoughts and dreams, because they are a part of the soul of all our people. Iskhaki’s creativity is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, strength and energy for the Tatar people. The time has come to open this spring to all our people. Inspired by his work, we created this portal so that everyone can touch the immortal works, ideas, dreams and feelings of Gayaz ishaki.
On the site you will find 43 literary works, more than 200 journalistic articles, letters and memoirs in Tatar, 6 translations of works into Russian and 7 into Turkish. At the same time, original photos and videos were published. The site will be constantly updated and updated with new materials, and it is planned to gradually translate both works and journalism into Russian, Turkish, and English. We hope that the portal will contribute to raising the national consciousness of the Tatar people, as well as to popularizing the work of Gayaz Iskhaki.
